Note: Parents are required to stay with child during all classes.
Workshops
July 9th and 16th - Beginning knitting class using a loom. Ages 7 & up. 9:30am to 11:30am. Cost is $20 members, $24 non-members.
July 25th and Aug 1st - Beginning knitting class for ages 10 and up. 9:30am to 11:30am. Cost is $20 members, $24 non-members.
July 30th thru 31st - Jewelry Making Workshop. Grades 2-5, 9:30am to 11:30am. Cost is $12 members, $15 non-members.
Aug. 6th and 18th - Beginning Knitting using a loom. Ages: 7 and up. 9:30am to 11:30am. Cost is $20 members, $24 non-members.
Note: Parents are required to stay with child during all classes. Parents are welcome to sign up for any of the knitting classes with their children. Must pre-register one week in advance for all of the following classes. 2 weeks in advance for any of the knitting classes. Cost of the knitting classes include all supplies, needles, loom, yarn, and patterns.
The North Platte Area Children's Museum is dedicated to serving the needs of children, families and schools as a center of learning and discovery. The Museum is a place for children a parents to experience the wonders of science, culture, life and the arts in a unique and interactive atmosphere. We strive to develop a feeling of excitement about learning and exploring.
